Chanel คือแบรนด์แฟชั่นชั้นสูงที่เป็นผู้นำในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่ไม่เพียงมีเอกลักษณ์ โก้หรูและคมคาย แต่ยังมีความเหนือชั้นทั้งในด้านของความคิดสร้างสรรค์ด้วยการนำเอารายละเอียดและประวัติศาสตร์ที่เกี่ยวข้องกับกาเบรียล ชาเนลมาผนวกกับฝีมืองานช่างที่มีความประณีตและชำนาญ จนสามารถรังสรรค์เป็นผลงานระดับงานศิลป์ที่เปี่ยมด้วยคุณค่าเหนือกาลเวลา
สำหรับคอลเลคชั่น Reach for the Stars ล่าสุดนี้ ปาทริซ เลอเกโร ผู้อำนวยการสตูดิโอสร้างสรรค์จิวเวลรีของ Chanel และทีมงานมีแรงบันดาลใจเป็นปรากฏการณ์ของท้องฟ้ายามเย็นที่เฉดสีชมพูและสีม่วงอ่อนผสานกับแสงอาทิตย์สีอมส้ม กลายเป็นแสงสีทองบางๆ บนเส้นขอบฟ้าที่ระยิบระยับยามโพล้เพล้ ทั้งยังมีการใช้สัญลักษณ์ระดับไอคอนิกทั้ง 3 ของมาดมัวแซลชาเนล ได้แก่ ดาวหาง ปีกและราชสีห์ในการออกแบบเครื่องประดับชั้นสูงที่เปี่ยมไปด้วยมนต์เสน่ห์เหล่านี้ด้วย
เครื่องประดับคอลเลคชั่นนี้ประกอบไปด้วยอัญมณีที่ร้อยเรียงเป็นสายสร้อยโชคเกอร์ สร้อยคอทรงเปิด แหวนทรงเปิด เข็มกลัดขนาดใหญ่ ต่างหูยาวแบบอสมมาตร กำไลข้อมือ และเทียร่า ทั้งหมดสะท้อนจิตวิญญาณของกาเบรียล ชาเนลที่เปี่ยมไปด้วยความมั่นใจและความสง่างามในทุกอิริยาบถ
ดาวหางอันเป็นองค์ประกอบหลักของ Bijoux de Diamants ซึ่งเป็นไฮจิลเวลรีคอลเลคชั่นแรกและคอลเลคชั่นเดียวของชาเนลเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 1932 ถูกนำมาตีความใหม่ให้เป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งความเย้ายวนตามแบบฉบับของ Chanel ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการเพิ่มความยาวของดาวหางขึ้นด้วยเส้นสีทองและโอนิกซ์เพื่อเน้นพลังของประกายแวววาวในชุดเครื่องประดับ Blazing Star หรือในชุด Dazzling Star ที่มีการเพิ่มจี้เพชรจำนวนสองชิ้นลงบนตัวล็อกของสร้อยโชคเกอร์เพื่ออวดช่วงคองามระหง
ส่วนสัญลักษณ์ปีกที่ถูกนำมาตีความเป็นครั้งแรกนั้นมาจากคติพจน์ประจำใจของมาดมัวแซลที่ว่า “หากคุณเกิดมาไร้ปีก จงอย่าให้สิ่งใดมาขัดขวางไม่ให้มันงอกงามขึ้นมา” หลายชิ้นโดดเด่นด้วยตัวเรือนลายฉลุและรายละเอียดที่ต้องอาศัยทักษะที่มีความแม่นยำสูง สามารถปรับเปลี่ยนให้สวมใส่ได้หลากหลายรูปแบบ อาทิ สร้อยคอ Wings of Chanel ที่มีปีกเพชรแผ่ขยายเพื่อโอบรอบลำคอ ประดับด้วยแซฟไฟร์พัดพารัดชาสีชมพูอมส้มที่งดงามสะดุดตา ส่วนจี้ยาวก็สามารถถอดออกและสวมใส่เป็นกำไลข้อมือได้ หรือปีกอันโปร่งเบาของสร้อยคอ Free Move ที่พร้อมจะเคลื่อนไหวไปกับเรือนร่างและส่วนโค้งของผู้สวมใส่
ราชสีห์เป็นจักรราศีประจำตัวของกาเบรียล ชาเนลซึ่งเธอเคยนำมาประดับบนกระดุมของชุดสูทและกลายมาเป็นสัญลักษณ์แห่งไฮจิวเวลรีของ Chanel ตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 2012 โดยสะท้อนถึงพลังและความสง่างามของตัวเธอและตัวแบรนด์ได้อย่างไม่ต้องสงสัย ดังจะเห็นได้จากเครื่องประดับในชุด Strong as a Lion ที่มีราชสีห์ไวท์โกลด์รายล้อมไปด้วยหมู่เพชรสีขาวล้วนหรือสีขาวสลับกับสีเหลืองที่ดูทรงพลัง หรือเครื่องประดับชุด Embrace Your Destiny ที่เน้นรูปทรงและเส้นสายของราชสีห์ดุจประติมากรรมที่ถ่ายทอดบุคลิกอันงามสง่าในรูปแบบเรียบง่าย แต่ก็ยังไม่ลืมที่จะเสริมความหรูหราด้วยอัญมณีเลอค่า

For their latest collection, Reach for the Stars, Patrice Leguéreau, Director of the Chanel Jewellery Creation Studio, and his team drew inspiration from the phenomenon of the evening sky, where shades of pink and soft violet blend with the warm orange glow of the sun, creating a veil of golden light shimmering across the horizon at dusk. Three of Mademoiselle Chanel’s most iconic symbols – the comet, the wing, and, the lion – take centre stage in this collection of captivating high jewellery.
The gemstone pieces in this collection include chokers, open necklaces, open rings, large brooches, asymmetrical long earrings, bracelets, and, tiaras. Each reflects the spirit of Gabrielle Chanel as defined by her confidence and grace in every gesture.
The comet, a central motif of Bijoux de Diamants that was her first and only high jewellery collection in 1932, is reinterpreted here as a symbol of allure in true Chanel style. In the Blazing Star set, the comet’s trail is lengthened with lines of gold and onyx to emphasise its sparkling energy. Meanwhile, in the Dazzling Star set, two diamond pendants are added to the clasp of a choker to frame the beauty of the beautiful neck.
The wing motif, introduced for the first time in this collection, draws from one of Mademoiselle Chanel’s personal mottos: “If you were born without wings, do nothing to prevent them from growing”. Many pieces feature openwork structures and details requiring the highest precision. They are also designed with adaptability in mind. The Wings of Chanel necklace, for example, spreads diamond-set wings around the neck, accented with striking padparadscha sapphires in sunset pink-orange hues. Its long pendant can be detached and worn as a bracelet. Similarly, the airy wings of the Free Move necklace are crafted to follow the body’s natural movement and curves.
The lion, Gabrielle Chanel’s zodiac sign, first appeared on suit buttons. It has become a Chanel high jewellery emblem in 2012, symbolising the power and grace of both Chanel the lady and the brand. This spirit is powerfully expressed in the Strong as a Lion set, where a white gold lion is surrounded by either pure white diamonds or a powerful combination of white and yellow diamonds. The Embrace Your Destiny set focuses on the lion’s sculptural form and lines, exuding its elegant personality in a pared-back design while still enhanced with precious gemstones.
Through a masterful blend of historical symbolism and modern design, the Chanel continues to prove that true style, like the stars themselves, transcends time.
