Longines รีเฟรชคอลเลคชั่น HydroConquest ครั้งใหญ่แต่ไม่ลืมมอบความคุ้มค่าเต็มพิกัดเหมือนเดิม

คุณผู้อ่านเชื่อไหมครับว่าในยุคหนึ่งของบ้านเรานั้น นาฬิกาดำน้ำเคยถูกใช้เป็นเกณฑ์หลักเกณฑ์หนึ่งในการวัดคุณภาพการผลิตของแบรนด์เลยทีเดียว เพราะนาฬิกาประเภทนี้จำเป็นต้องมีความทนทานต่อทุกสภาวะแวดล้อม และยังต้องสามารถแสดงค่าเวลาได้อย่างชัดเจน จึงกลายเป็นตัวเลือกที่น่าสนใจสำหรับผู้ที่ใช้นาฬิกาแบบสมบุกสมบันหรือใช้งานกลางแจ้ง แม้ว่าจะไม่ได้ใส่ดำน้ำจริงๆ ก็ตาม
สำหรับ Longines นั้นก็มีนาฬิกาดำน้ำรูปแบบต่างๆ มาตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1958 และในยุคสมัยปัจจุบันก็มีคอลเลคชั่นนาฬิกาดำน้ำระดับความลึก 300 เมตรในชื่อ HydroConquest ตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 2007 ซึ่งในช่วงเริ่มแรกนั้นเราเองก็ยังไม่ได้ให้ความสนใจอะไรกับคอลเลคชั่นนี้มากนัก จนกระทั่งมีการรีเฟรชครั้งใหญ่เป็น HydroConquest เจนเนอเรชั่นที่ 2 ในปี ค.ศ. 2018 ซึ่งมาพร้อมกับวงแหวนขอบตัวเรือนวัสดุเซรามิกในราคาเรือนละไม่ถึง 60,000 บาท ดังนั้นเมื่อคำนึงถึงชื่อชั้นหรือภาพลักษณ์ของแบรนด์และปัจจัยอื่นๆ ประกอบแล้วจึงทำให้ HydroConquest เป็นนาฬิกาดำน้ำสวิสที่น่าสนใจที่สุดในระดับราคา 50,001-100,000 บาทไปโดยปริยาย
และในปีนี้ Longines ก็ยังคงยึดมั่นในหลักการแห่งความคุ้มค่าดังกล่าวด้วยการเปิดตัว HydroConquest เจนเนอเรชั่นที่ 3 พร้อมกันเป็นชุด 2 ขนาดให้คุณเลือกตามความชอบ คือ 39 มม. และ 42 มม. และยังตั้งราคาทั้ง 2 ขนาดนี้ไว้เท่ากันเลยด้วย คือ 72,200 บาทสำหรับรุ่นสายเบรซเลทแบบปกติ และ 76,100 บาทสำหรับรุ่นสายเบรซเลทแบบเมช โดยสายทั้ง 2 ประเภทนี้มีบานพับแบบปลดล็อคด้วยปุ่มกดคู่ทางด้านซ้ายและขวา และภายในก็มีระบบปรับความยาวสายแบบเป็นสเตป 4 จังหวะซ่อนอยู่ คุณสามารถเลือกใช้แทนครึ่งข้อเพื่อความกระชับพอดีข้อมือแบบ 100% หรือใช้ขยายสายเพื่อความสบายเมื่ออากาศร้อนระหว่างวันได้ตามความต้องการ
รายละเอียดการออกแบบหน้าปัดที่ทำให้ HydroConquest รุ่นปี ค.ศ. 2026 ดูแตกต่างจากรุ่นปี ค.ศ. 2018 อย่างชัดเจนคือหลักชั่วโมงซึ่งปัจจุบันจะไม่มีตัวเลขอารบิกที่ตำแหน่ง 12, 6 และ 9 แล้ว และหลักชั่วโมงอื่นๆ ที่เคยเป็นทรงกลมนั้นก็เปลี่ยนเป็นรูปทรงสี่เหลี่ยมผืนผ้า นาฬิกาจึงดูคมคายยิ่งขึ้น อีกจุดหนึ่งที่เห็นได้ชัดพอสมควรก็คือเม็ดมะยมที่มีขนาดเล็กลง ทำให้บ่าป้องกันเม็ดมะยมเพรียวลงด้วย ซึ่งรายละเอียดทั้งหมดนี้ทำให้ HydroConquest ใหม่ใส่กับเสื้อผ้าทำงานได้อย่างลงตัวยิ่งขึ้นหากเป็นรุ่นสายเบรซเลทแบบธรรมดา ส่วนรุ่นที่เป็นสายเบรซเลทแบบเมชนั้นก็ยังคงดูแคชวลหรือลำลองเป็นหลักอยู่ดี
นอกจากนี้ก็ยังมีรายละเอียดที่ไม่อาจมองเห็นได้จากภายนอก เช่น กลไกภายในที่ควบคุมการหมุนขอบตัวเรือนซึ่ง Longines บอกว่าเป็นแบบเดียวกันกับที่ประสบความสำเร็จในนาฬิการุ่น Ultra-Chron Diver มาแล้วแต่ไม่ได้ขยายความอะไรมากตรงจุดนี้ และอีกหนึ่งการปรับปรุงที่จะทำให้คุ้มค่ากับราคาที่เพิ่มขึ้นมาจาก HydroConquest เจนเนอเรชั่นที่แล้วก็คือบาลานซ์สปริงของเครื่องนาฬิกาแบบขึ้นลานอัตโนมัติรุ่นคาลิเบอร์ L888.5 ที่ผลิตจากวัสดุซิลิคอนจึงทนทานต่ออิทธิพลของสนามแม่เหล็กมากกว่าเครื่องรุ่นคาลิเบอร์ L888 เดิมในระดับหนึ่ง และยังคงมีกำลังลานสำรองยาวนานถึง 72 ชั่วโมงเหมือนเดิม
Longines HydroConquest รุ่นปี ค.ศ. 2026 มีคู่สีและสายให้เลือกทั้งหมด 7 รูปแบบด้วยกัน ได้แก่ รุ่นหน้าปัดแลคเกอร์สีดำกับวงแหวนขอบตัวเรือนสีดำและสายเบรซเลทแบบธรรมดา รุ่นหน้าปัดแลคเกอร์สีดำกับวงแหวนขอบตัวเรือนสีเทาและสายเบรซเลทแบบเมช รุ่นหน้าปัดแลคเกอร์สีดำกับวงแหวนขอบตัวเรือนสีน้ำเงินสว่างและสายเบรซเลทแบบเมช รุ่นหน้าปัดแลคเกอร์สีเขียวกับวงแหวนขอบตัวเรือนสีเขียวและสายเบรซเลทแบบธรรมดา รุ่นหน้าปัดแลคเกอร์สีน้ำเงินเข้มกับวงแหวนขอบตัวเรือนสีน้ำเงินเข้มและสายเบรซเลทแบบธรรมดา รุ่นหน้าปัดซันเรย์สีฟ้ากับวงแหวนขอบตัวเรือนสีดำและสายเบรซเลทแบบเมช และรุ่นสุดท้ายคือรุ่นที่จะจำหน่ายผ่านบูติคอย่างเป็นทางการและช่องทางอีคอมเมิร์ซของ Longines เองเท่านั้นก็คือรุ่นหน้าปัดซันเรย์สีฟ้ากับวงแหวนขอบตัวเรือนสีน้ำเงินเข้มและสายเบรซเลทแบบธรรมดา โดยที่ทุกสีจะมีตัวเรือนขนาด 39 และ 42 มม. ให้เลือกตามความชอบของผู้ซื้อ
เรามองว่าการที่ Longines เปิดตัวนาฬิกาแบบไม่กั๊กอย่างนี้คือดีมาก แบมาเลยว่ามี 2 ขนาด มีกี่สี มีกี่สาย แล้วผู้ซื้อก็เลือกที่โดนใจตัวเองที่สุดแต่แรกได้เลย ไม่ใช่ออกเล็กมาก่อนเพื่อตามเทรนด์แล้วมาออกใหญ่เมื่อเจอความจริงว่าผู้ซื้อจากยุคเก่าที่ชอบนาฬิกาเรือนใหญ่ก็ยังมีอยู่ หรือออกเรือนใหญ่มาก่อนเพื่อให้สมความเป็นทูลวอทช์แล้วค่อยออกเรือนเล็กมาง้อเทรนด์
ตอนนี้สิ่งที่ Longines จะต้องทำก็คือเก็บ HydroConquest เจนเนอเรชั่นเก่าลงจากเว็บให้หมด เพราะหากทิ้งไว้แบบนี้แล้วผู้บริโภคกดเข้ามาเจอนาฬิกาชื่อเหมือนกันแต่หน้าตาไม่เหมือนกันก็จะงง แล้วเจนที่แล้วมีมากถึง 3 ขนาดอีกคือ 39, 41 และ 43 มม. จึงจะยิ่งพาให้สับสนไปกันใหญ่ ทีนี้ก็จะเหลือสายยางที่ยังไม่มีเป็นตัวเลือกในเวลานี้ และเชื่อว่าจะ Longines จะเก็บไว้ขายเป็นอุปกรณ์เสริมในภายหลัง แต่ไม่ว่าอย่างไร เราก็สนับสนุนให้ทุกคนซื้อนาฬิการุ่นต่างๆ มาพร้อมกับสายเบรซเลทก่อนอยู่แล้วเพราะจะใช้เงินน้อยกว่ากรณีที่ซื้อนาฬิกากับสายยางมาก่อนแล้วค่อยซื้อสายเบรซเลทเพิ่มในภายหลัง

The Thai watch market at one point in time used diving watches as a key benchmark to evaluate a brand’s manufacturing quality. This is because such watches must be robust enough to withstand all environmental conditions while also offering optimal legibility. As a result, they became an appealing choice for those who use their watches in demanding or outdoor settings, even out of the water.
Longines has produced various forms of diving watches since 1958. In the modern era, they introduced a 300-metre diving watch collection under the name HydroConquest in 2007. At the outset, we did not pay much attention to this collection. That changed with the major refresh into the second generation HydroConquest in 2018, which introduced a ceramic bezel insert at a retail price under THB 60,000. Taking into account the brand’s image and other factors, this positioned the HydroConquest as one of the most compelling Swiss diving watches in the THB 50,001–100,000 segment, without a doubt.
This year, Longines continues to uphold that value proposition with the launch of the third generation HydroConquest, introduced simultaneously in two sizes of 39 mm and 42 mm to suit different preferences. They are priced identically at THB 72,200 if on the standard bracelet and THB 76,100 if on the mesh bracelet. Both bracelet types feature a folding clasp with dual push-button release on either side, along with a concealed 4-step micro-adjustment system. The latter allows the wearer to fine tune the fit to achieve an even more snug fit than with a half link, or to extend the bracelet slightly for added comfort in warmer conditions as needed.
Certain dial design elements distinguish the 2026 HydroConquest differs clearly from the 2018 version. The hour markers no longer feature Arabic numerals at 12, 6 and 9, while the remaining markers, previously circular, have been changed to rectangular shapes, giving the watch a sharper appearance. Another noticeable update is the smaller crown, which results in slimmer crown guards. Altogether, these refinements make the new HydroConquest more suitable for pairing with business attire, particularly in the standard bracelet configuration. The mesh bracelet versions, meanwhile, retains an unapologetically casual character.
There are also improvements not immediately visible from the outside. These include the internal mechanism controlling the bezel rotation, which Longines states is the same system successfully used in the Ultra-Chron Diver, although they have not elaborated further on this point. Another key upgrade that justifies the higher price compared to the previous generation is the silicon balance spring in the self-winding Calibre L888.5 movement. This offers improved resistance to magnetic fields compared to the earlier Calibre L888. The power reserve remains 72 hours as before.
The 2026 Longines HydroConquest is available in seven combinations of dial colour, bezel insert colour and bracelet style. These include a black lacquer dial with a black bezel on a standard bracelet; a black lacquer dial with a grey bezel on a mesh bracelet; a black lacquer dial with a luminous blue bezel on a mesh bracelet; a green lacquer dial with a green bezel on a standard bracelet; a dark blue lacquer dial with a dark blue bezel on a standard bracelet; a frosted blue sunray dial with a black bezel on a mesh bracelet; and finally, a corporate boutique and e-commerce exclusive featuring a frosted blue sunray dial with a dark blue bezel on a standard bracelet. All colour options are available in both 39 mm and 42 mm case sizes.
We commend Longines’ approach of launching the collection in full from the outset. By presenting both sizes, all colour options and all bracelet configurations at once, buyers can best pick the version that suits them best. This is so much better than to release a smaller size first to follow trends, only to later introduce a larger version because of the demand from old-timers in the market, or to propose only the larger size to establish the tool watch persona then give in to the trend with the smaller size afterwards.
At this stage, Longines would benefit from removing the previous generation HydroConquest from their web site. Leaving both generations visible under the same name but with different designs may create confusion, particularly as the earlier generation was offered in as many as three sizes of 39, 41 and 43 mm. It is just too confusing. The only missing option at present is a rubber strap, which will likely be introduced later as an accessory. In any case, we continue to recommend purchasing any watch with a bracelet first, as it is more cost-effective than buying a rubber strap version and adding a bracelet afterwards.
All photographs in this article feature the 42 mm version on a 6.5-inch wrist. In reality, this writer could also wear the 39 mm version without it looking too small. However, being from an older generation, I prefer a watch that fills the wrist more prominently without overhanging, and naturally gravitated towards the 42 mm versions.
The three colourways shown were chosen for specific reasons: the black dial with luminous blue bezel on a mesh bracelet is the hero model used by Longines for their global promotion; the dark blue dial with dark blue bezel on a standard bracelet is likely to be the most practical for long-term daily wear and carries a stronger Longines identity than the black one; and, the frosted blue sunray dial with dark blue bezel on a standard bracelet, available exclusively through corporate boutiques, offers the much needed variety for those who already own black or dark blue dial diving watches.
