Omega was first honoured as the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games in 1932 and has continued to fulfil this role ever since. Most recently, they unveiled the one-year countdown clock to the start of the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games, which will take place on 6 March 2026 in Cortina, northern Italy. The countdown clock, positioned in Piazza Angelo Dibona, has been designed in the same shape as the official emblem of the Games and displays the remaining days, hours, minutes and seconds until the opening ceremony. Meanwhile, the countdown clock for the Milano Cortina 2026 Winter Olympic Games was unveiled and activated earlier on 6 February, at Piazza del Duomo, a must-visit landmark for tourists.
