Blancpain ushers in the final quarter of the year with the launch of three new models in their Villeret collection, one of which is the Villeret Quantième Phases de Lune, or Calendar Moon Phase, measuring 33.20 millimetres in diameter. The model is offered in as many as eight variations, allowing buyers to choose between stainless steel or red gold cases, opaline grained or golden brown sunburst dials, and plain or diamond-set bezels.
The latest Villeret models have been refined for greater elegance and sophistication. The bezel is slimmer, the case thinner, and the hands more slender. The Roman numerals now feature a satin-brushed top surface with polished bevels, while the moon phase aperture has been enlarged. Its moon phase disc, crafted from ceramic, features a domed 18K gold moon with a satin finish, complete with the signature facial depiction that has long been a hallmark of Blancpain.
Powering the Villeret Quantième Phases de Lune is the Calibre 913QL.P, a self-winding movement equipped with a gold rotor to optimise winding efficiency and achieve the full 40-hour power reserve. The steel version with an opaline dial is paired with a blue-grey leather strap. The red gold model with an opaline dial comes with a honey leather strap. Lastly, the red gold model with a golden brown dial is fitted with a brown leather strap. All straps feature a tool-free interchangeability system, allowing the wearer to easily change straps to match different outfits or occasions.
