Grand Seiko เปิดตัวนาฬิกา Snowdrop และ Moondrop ที่ถ่ายทอดความละเอียดอ่อนแห่งการเปลี่ยนผ่านฤดูกาล

ปรัชญา The Nature of Time เป็นสิ่งที่กำหนดแนวทางการออกแบบของ Grand Seiko อย่างแม่นยำเรื่อยมา และบรรยากาศที่เย็นเป็นพิเศษของประเทศไทยในช่วงนี้ทำให้ผลงานใหม่ล่าสุดของ Grand Seiko ดูน่าสนใจและใกล้ตัวยิ่งขึ้นด้วย
รุ่นแรกคือ Elegance Collection Automatic Mechanical GMT “Snowdrop” SBGM255 หน้าปัดสีขาวของนาฬิการุ่นนี้มีลวดลายสไปรอลขนาดเล็กที่ล้อเล่นกับแสงเหมือนหยดน้ำที่สะท้อนแสงอาทิตย์แห่งฤดูใบไม้ผลิหลังจากที่หิมะเริ่มละลาย บอกเวลาในประเทศที่สองด้วยเข็มสีน้ำเงินประกอบกับสเกลตัวเลข 24 ชั่วโมงที่อยู่บริเวณชั้นในของรัศมีหลักชั่วโมง สวมใส่ด้วยสายหนังจระเข้สีดำและบานพับแบบสามทบ
อีกรุ่นหนึ่งคือ Elegance Collection Automatic Mechanical GMT “Moondrop” SBGM257 ซึ่งมีดีไซน์พื้นฐานเดียวกันทั้งหมด แต่มีแรงบันดาลใจเป็นหยาดน้ำค้างที่สะท้อนแสงจันทร์ในค่ำคืนแห่งฤดูใบไม้ร่วง หน้าปัดลายสไปรอลจึงมีสีน้ำเงินเข้ม และมีการทำเข็มจีเอ็มทีกับสเกลตัวเลข 24 ชั่วโมงเป็นสีทอง สวมใส่ด้วยสายหนังจระเข้สีเดียวกันกับหน้าปัดและบานพับแบบสามทบ นาฬิกาทั้ง 2 รุ่นนี้มีตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลขนาด 39.5 มม. ซึ่งมีทรงกลมในสไตล์คลาสสิกคล้ายกับนาฬิกา Grand Seiko รุ่นแรกในปี ค.ศ. 1960 แต่มีการเพิ่มรายละเอียดแห่งความร่วมสมัยลงไปอย่างเช่นขาตัวเรือนที่ดูกว้างกว่ารุ่นดั้งเดิมแต่ก็มีการขัดลบเหลี่ยมอย่างมีชั้นเชิงด้วยเช่นกัน

The Nature of Time philosophy has long provided a precise guiding framework for the design of Grand Seiko, and the unusually cool weather in Thailand at the moment makes the brand’s latest creations feel all the more appealing and relevant.
The first model is the Elegance Collection Automatic Mechanical GMT “Snowdrop”, reference SBGM255. The white dial of this watch features a fine spiral pattern that plays with the light, evoking droplets of water reflecting the spring sunlight after the snow has begun to melt. A blue GMT hand indicates a second time zone, paired with a 24-hour numeral scale positioned on the inner radius of the hour markers. The watch is fitted with a black crocodile leather strap and a triple-fold clasp.
The second model is the Elegance Collection Automatic Mechanical GMT “Moondrop”, reference SBGM257, which shares the same fundamental design but draws its inspiration from dewdrops reflecting moonlight on an autumn night. As a result, the spiral-patterned dial appears in a deep blue tone, with the GMT hand and the 24-hour scale rendered in gold. It is paired with a crocodile leather strap in a matching colour and a triple-fold clasp. Both models feature a stainless steel case measuring 39.5 mm in diameter, with a classic round profile reminiscent of the very first Grand Seiko from 1960, enhanced by contemporary details such as broader lugs that are nonetheless skilfully chamfered and finished.
Both the Snowdrop SBGM255 and the Moondrop SBGM257 are powered by the self-winding Calibre 9S66. Based on Grand Seiko’s own hi-beat calibre, it is enhanced with a true GMT function whose hour hand can be adjusted independently to local time when travelling, without stopping the movement entirely. The movement is regulated to an accuracy of +10/-1 seconds per day and offers a power reserve of 72 hours or a full three days.
