Cut คือชื่อของนาฬิกาสไตล์ยูนิเซ็กซ์ดีไซน์ใหม่ที่ Hermès เพิ่งเริ่มนำเสนอเป็นครั้งแรกเมื่อปีที่แล้ว ตัวเรือนเป็นทรงกลมมีลักษณะคล้ายก้อนหินแบนๆ มีเม็ดมะยมอยู่ที่ตำแหน่ง 1.30 นาฬิกาเพื่อรักษาไว้ซึ่งเส้นสายอันไร้ที่ติโดยรอบตัวเรือน ในภาพรวมแล้วเป็นนาฬิกาที่ใส่ง่ายสบายๆ เหมาะกับชีวิตประจำวัน

Cut is a new unisex watch collection introduced by Hermès last year. The round case, shaped like a smooth, flat pebble, features a crown positioned at 1:30 to preserve the seamless, uninterrupted contours of the design. Overall, it is a watch made for ease and comfort – perfect for everyday wear.
The first generation of Cut watches were time-only. This year, however, Hermès expands the collection with the Cut Le temps suspendu, a model that incorporates the brand’s unique “time suspended” mechanism into a brand new 39 mm rose gold case.
With a simple press of the button on the left side of the case, the hour and minute hands are quickly swept away to the top of the dial, yet the movement continues to keep accurate time in the background. Once the wearer is ready to reengage with the current moment, pressing the same button again returns all the hands to their correct positions instantly.
The small hand at 4 o’clock, which might be mistaken for a seconds hand, actually serves as an indicator that the movement is running. It completes one counterclockwise rotation every 24 seconds: a poetic nod to the address of the maison’s landmark boutique at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré in Paris.
The Hermès Cut Le temps suspendu is available either with a diamond-set bezel adorned with 60 stones as shown here, or with a clean, polished bezel for a more understated look, depending on one’s preference and style of wear.
