ความรักและความฝันที่ถูกถ่ายทอดผ่านหน้าปัดของสองเรือนเวลาล่าสุดจาก Van Cleef & Arpels

Extraordinary Dials คือชื่อคอลเลคชั่นนาฬิกาที่ Van Cleef & Arpels สงวนไว้สำหรับเรือนเวลาที่ทางแบรนด์บรรจงสร้างสรรค์ด้วยงานศิลป์แบบดั้งเดิมต่างๆ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นงานเอนาเมล งานแกะสลัก งานวาดภาพขนาดเล็ก และแน่นอนว่าจะขาดการประดับเพชรและอัญมณีต่างๆ ไปไม่ได้เลย โดยเทคนิคทั้งหมดที่เลือกใช้จะต้องสอดประสานกันเพื่อบอกเล่าเรื่องราวตามคอนเซปท์ของนาฬิการุ่นนั้นๆ อย่างมีชีวิตชีวา
ภายในงาน Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026 ที่เพิ่งผ่านพ้นไป เราได้เห็นนาฬิกาในกลุ่ม Extraordinary Dials จำนวน 2 รุ่น ได้แก่ Lady Rencontre Céleste และ Lady Retrouvailles Célestes ซึ่งตั้งอยู่บนพื้นฐานของเรื่องราวแห่งความรักอันเป็นจุดเริ่มต้นของการกำเนิดแบรนด์ Van Cleef & Arpels หน้าปัดของนาฬิกาทั้งคู่นี้มีตัวละครสำคัญคือเวก้าซึ่งเป็นตัวแทนของหญิงสาวและอัลแตร์ซึ่งเป็นตัวแทนของชายหนุ่ม ตามตำนานนั้นทั้งสองคือดวงดาวที่อยู่ห่างกันแสนไกล และจะโคจรมาพบกันเพียงแค่ปีละครั้งเท่านั้น
Lady Rencontre Céleste นำเสนอหน้าปัดเฉดน้ำเงินในตัวเรือนไวท์โกลด์ บนหน้าปัดมีการแกะสลักไวท์โกลด์เป็นภาพอัลแตร์และเวก้ากำลังกุมมือกัน ท่ามกลางมวลหมู่เมฆโปร่งแสงที่รังสรรค์ด้วยเทคนิคพลิคอาจูร์เอนาเมลพร้อมประดับเพชรน้อยใหญ่ตามจุดต่างๆ ทั้งหมดดูเหมือนลอยอยู่เหนือฉากหลังที่มีมิติและระดับชั้นด้วยการใช้องค์ประกอบที่มีเทคนิคต่างๆ กัน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นชองเลอเว่เอนาเมล กริซายล์เอนาเมลและการวาดภาพขนาดเล็กประกอบ
ส่วนทางด้าน Lady Retrouvailles Célestes นั้นก็ใช้เทคนิคงานศิลป์ต่างๆ นี้เช่นเดียวกัน จะต่างก็ตรงที่การนำเสนอเฉดสีชมพูและสีม่วงในตัวเรือนโรสโกลด์ และฉากบนหน้าปัดที่แสดงภาพของเวก้าและอัลแตร์ที่เอื้อมมือเข้าหากันจากทางด้านซ้ายและขวา โดยมีหมู่นกไวท์โกลด์ทำหน้าที่เป็นสะพานทอดถึงกันเพื่อรอวันที่ทั้งสองจะได้พบกันอีกครั้งหนึ่ง
นาฬิกาชวนฝันคู่นี้มีขนาด 33 มม. เท่ากัน ทำงานด้วยเครื่องนาฬิกาแบบไขลานรุ่นคาลิเบอร์ Q474 ซึ่งมีกำลังลานสำรอง 36 ชั่วโมง สวมใส่ด้วยสายหนังจระเข้แบบผิวเงาที่มีสีตรงกันกับหน้าปัด และผลิตเป็นจำนวนจำกัดเพียงรุ่นละ 8 เรือนเท่านั้น

Extraordinary Dials is the name of a watch collection reserved by Van Cleef & Arpels for timepieces crafted with traditional artistic métiers, including enamelling, engraving and miniature painting, alongside the deliberate use of diamonds and gemstones. These techniques are carefully combined to tell the intended story in the most vivid and expressive manner possible.
At Watches and Wonders Geneva 2026, two new models from the Extraordinary Dials collection were unveiled: Lady Rencontre Céleste and Lady Retrouvailles Célestes. Both are based on a romantic narrative that reflects the origins of Van Cleef & Arpels. The dials feature two key characters: Vega, representing the woman, and, Altair, representing the man. According to the legend, these two stars are separated by a vast distance and are destined to meet only once a year.
Lady Rencontre Céleste presents a blue-toned dial within a white gold case. The dial features engraved white gold figures of Altair and Vega holding hands, surrounded by translucent clouds created using plique-à-jour enamel, and accented with diamonds of varying sizes. The entire scene appears to float above a richly layered background achieved through a combination of techniques, including champlevé enamel, grisaille enamel and miniature painting.
Lady Retrouvailles Célestes employs the same artistic techniques but differs in its presentation, with pink and mauve tones and a rose gold case. The dial depicts Vega and Altair reaching towards each other from the left and right. They are connected by a formation of white gold birds acting as a bridge, symbolising the anticipation of their reunion.
Both of these poetic timepieces measure 33 mm in diameter and are powered by the hand-winding Calibre Q474 which offers a power reserve of 36 hours. They are paired with glossy alligator leather straps matching the dial colours, and produced in highly limited editions of just eight pieces per model.
