A. Lange & Söhne เปิดตัว Richard Lange Jumping Seconds ใหม่ในฐานะนาฬิกาหน้าปัดพิงค์โกลด์รุ่นที่ 4 ของแบรนด์

สิ่งหนึ่งที่เราต้องย้ำกับคนทั่วไปเสมอก็คือว่า A. Lange & Söhne นั้น ไม่ได้มีเพียงแค่รุ่น Lange 1 ที่เป็นเอกลักษณ์ด้วยหน้าปัดบอกเวลาแบบเยื้องจุดศูนย์กลางและหน้าต่างวันที่ตัวเลขคู่ขนาดใหญ่เท่านั้น แต่ยังมีคอลเลคชั่นอื่นๆ อีกรวมมากถึง 6 คอลเลคชั่น
นาฬิกาคอลเลคชั่นหนึ่งที่เราไม่ค่อยได้เห็นกันก็คือ Richard Lange Jumping Seconds ซึ่งเปิดตัวเป็นครั้งแรกเมื่อ 9 ปีก่อน แต่ที่ผ่านมาเคยมีออกมาแค่ 3 เวอร์ชั่นเท่านั้น โดยเวอร์ชั่นที่เรานำเสนอในหน้าคู่นี้เป็นรุ่นที่ 4 ทั้งยังเป็นนาฬิกา A. Lange & Söhne รุ่นที่ 4 ด้วยที่ได้ใช้หน้าปัดพิงค์โกลด์แท้ๆ (ไม่ใช่แค่เป็นสีพิงค์โกลด์) จึงยิ่งทวีความพิเศษเข้าไปอีก เข็มบอกเวลาเป็นแบบแยกจากกันทั้งหมด ประกอบด้วยเข็มวินาทีที่เป็นพระเอกด้วยวงใหญ่สุดทางด้านบน จากนั้นเมื่อกวาดสายตาตามทิศเดียวกับเข็มนาฬิกาลงมาก็จะพบกับวงนาทีสเกลตัวเลขอารบิกทางด้านขวาล่าง แล้วจึงต่อด้วยวงชั่วโมงสเกลตัวเลขโรมันทางด้านซ้ายล่าง
เครื่องรุ่นคาลิเบอร์ L094.1 ที่ใช้ในนาฬิการุ่นนี้ได้รับการออกแบบมาให้มีเข็มวินาทีแบบเดินเป็นจังหวะทุก 1 วินาทีเพื่อความชัดเจนในเชิงวิทยาศาสตร์ ไม่ใช่เดินเป็นสเต็ปสั้นๆ หลายครั้งใน 1 วินาทีเหมือนเครื่องทั่วไป และถือเป็นกลไกที่พบเห็นได้ยากในวงการนาฬิกาปัจจุบันจนเป็นที่มาของชื่อรุ่น
แต่ที่มีนัยสำคัญยิ่งกว่านั้นก็คือการใช้คอนสแตนท์ฟอร์ซเอสเคปเมนท์เพื่อการนำส่งพลังงานจากแบเรลอย่างสม่ำเสมอ ไม่ว่าสถานะลานในขณะนั้นจะเต็มมากน้อยเพียงใดก็ตาม กำลังลานสำรองอยู่ที่ 42 ชั่วโมง และเมื่อเข้าสู่ช่วง 10 ชั่วโมงสุดท้ายก็จะมีสัญลักษณ์สีแดงปรากฏขึ้นเหนือตำแหน่ง 6 นาฬิกาเพื่อเป็นการเตือนให้เจ้าของนาฬิกาไขลานเพิ่มก่อนที่ลานจะหมด และเครื่องรุ่นนี้ยังมีฟังก์ชั่นซีโร่รีเซ็ทเพื่อดีดเข็มวินาทีไปอยู่ที่ตำแหน่งศูนย์เมื่อต้องการตั้งเวลาด้วย
ความเหนือชั้นทั้งหมดนี้ได้รับการบรรจุไว้ในตัวเรือนไวท์โกลด์ขนาด 39.9 มม. คาดบนข้อมือด้วยสายหนังสีน้ำตาลเข้มที่เสริมรับกับโทนสีอันอบอุ่นของหน้าปัดพิงค์โกลด์ได้เป็นอย่างดี และเป็นลิมิเต็ดเอดิชั่นจำนวน 100 เรือนเท่านั้น

One point that we often emphasised to the general public is that A. Lange & Söhne is not defined solely by the Lange 1 – the brand’s signature model with its off-centred time display and large outsized date window – but that they, in fact, have six main collections in total.
One of the lesser-seen collections is the Richard Lange Jumping Seconds, first introduced nine years ago. Over the years, only three versions have been released, making the new edition featured on these pages the fourth. It is also only the fourth A. Lange & Söhne timepiece ever to feature a pink gold dial (real gold, not merely pink gold in colour). Adding to the watch’s rarity and allure, the dial showcases a distinctive regulator-style layout, with all three hands separated into individual subdials. The dominant large seconds display at the top, followed by the minute subdial with Arabic numerals on the lower right, and finally the hour sub-dial with Roman numerals on the lower left.
The watch is powered by the Calibre L094.1 with a seconds hand that makes a precise, single jump every second, rather than the multiple micro-steps typical of most mechanical watches. This clarity-oriented mechanism is quite rare in today’s watch industry and gives the watch model the name as we know it.
More importantly, the movement incorporates a constant-force escapement, which guarantees a steady transmission of power from the barrel regardless of the state of wind. The power reserve lasts for 42 hours. During the final 10 hours, a small red indicator appears above the six o’clock position to remind the wearer to rewind the watch before it runs out. The calibre also includes a zero-reset mechanism, instantly returning the seconds hand to zero for precise time setting.
This sophisticated timepiece is presented in a 39.9 mm white gold case, paired with a dark brown leather strap that beautifully complements the warm tone of the pink gold dial. It is offered as a limited edition of only 100 pieces.
