IMBA นำเสนอผลงานของเฟอร์นันโด โบเตโรในรูปแบบอิมเมอร์สีฟเป็นครั้งแรกในโลกที่ Gardens by the Bay

IMBA หรือ Immersive Media Based Arts ของ Hustle & Bustle Group บริษัทด้านสาระบันเทิงชั้นนำของสิงคโปร์นำเสนอ “Botero in Singapore” นิทรรศการผลงานต้นฉบับกว่า 130 ชิ้นของเฟอร์นันโด โบเตโร ศิลปินชั้นครูระดับโลกชาวโคลัมเบียและหนึ่งในศิลปินร่วมสมัยที่ได้รับการยอมรับมากที่สุดในโลก จิตรกรและประติมากรผู้นี้มีสไตล์โดดเด่นเป็นเอกลักษณ์ในการเล่าเรื่องราวเกี่ยวกับชีวิต สังคมและการเมืองด้วยอารมณ์ขันและการเสียดสีผ่านรูปลักษณ์ของมนุษย์ สัตว์และวัตถุที่มีลักษณะอวบอ้วนและมีขนาดใหญ่เกินจริง
นิทรรศการ Botero in Singapore จะจัดออกเป็น 3 ส่วนด้วยกัน ได้แก่ ส่วนแรก Garden Grandeur ที่เปิดให้เข้าชมแล้วตั้งแต่วันที่ 24 มกราคม ประกอบด้วยประติมากรรมบรอนซ์ขนาดมหึมาของโบเตโร่จำนวน 10 ชิ้น โดย 4 ชิ้นจะอยู่ที่สนามหญ้าด้านทิศตะวันตก (West Lawn) และที่เหลือจะถูกจัดวางอยู่บริเวณต่างๆ ของสวนซิลเวอร์การ์เดน (Silver Garden) ใน Gardens by the Bay นับว่าเป็นการเปลี่ยนภูมิทัศน์กลางแจ้งให้กลายเป็นพื้นที่สำหรับศิลปะสาธารณะและพื้นที่ทางวัฒนธรรมที่มีชีวิตชีวา ซึ่งเฟอร์นันโดนั้นเชื่อว่าศิลปะควรเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของชีวิตประจำวัน โดยเชื้อเชิญให้ผู้เข้าชมได้มีปฏิสัมพันธ์ ถ่ายภาพและหยุดพินิจพิจารณา
ส่วนที่สองจะเป็นนิทรรศการ Heart of Volume จากคอลเลคชั่นของครอบครัวโบเตโรที่ครอบคลุมผลงานต่างๆ ของศิลปินท่านนี้ในช่วงระยะเวลากว่า 70 ปีในอาชีพของเขาไว้มากถึง 118 ชิ้น ไม่ว่าจะเป็นภาพเขียน ภาพวาด และประติมากรรมในร่มที่จะทำให้ผู้ชมได้เห็นถึงวิวัฒนาการของสไตล์ “โบเตริสโม” อันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของเขา นิทรรศการ Heart of Volume จะจัดแสดงที่โรงละคร IMBA ตั้งแต่วันที่ 13 กุมภาพันธ์ 2026 และ บัตร Early Bird จะเริ่มจำหน่ายตั้งแต่วันที่ 30 มกราคม 2026

ส่วนที่สามจะเป็นนิทรรศการผลงานโบเตโรในรูปแบบประสบการณ์เสมือนจริงครั้งแรกของโลกที่มีชื่อว่า “A Life in Fullness” ซึ่งจะจัดขึ้นที่โรงละคร IMBA นิทรรศการนี้เป็นการทำงานร่วมกันอย่างใกล้ชิดกับมูลนิธิเฟอร์นันโด โบเตโร (Fernando Botero Foundation) บรรยายโดย เฟอร์นันโด โบเตโร ซีอา ลูกชายคนโตของปรมาจารย์เฟอร์นันโด ตลอดระยะเวลา 45 นาทีของการแสดงแสง สี และเสียงที่ตระการตาและมีชีวิตชีวานี้คุณจะได้สัมผัสกับเรื่องราวส่วนตัวและความลึกซึ้งทางอารมณ์ที่อยู่เบื้องหลังงานศิลปะอันยิ่งใหญ่ของเขา ซึ่งประสบการณ์สุดดื่มด่ำนี้จะเปิดให้เข้าชมตั้งแต่วันที่ 6 มีนาคม 2026 บัตร Early Bird จะเริ่มจำหน่ายตั้งแต่วันที่ 30 มกราคม 2026 เช่นกัน

A division of Hustle & Bustle Group, Singapore’s leading edutainment company, IMBA or Immersive Media Based Arts presents “Botero in Singapore”: an exhibition featuring more than 130 original works by Fernando Botero. The Colombian master is one of the most widely recognised contemporary artists in the world. Both a painter and sculptor, Botero is celebrated for his distinctive style of storytelling, depicting life, society and politics with humour and satire through exaggerated, voluminous figures of humans, animals and everyday objects.

The Botero in Singapore exhibition will be presented in three sections. The first, Garden Grandeur, has been open to visitors since 24 January. It features 10 monumental bronze sculptures by Botero, with four installed on the West Lawn and the remainder placed throughout the Silver Garden at Gardens by the Bay. This outdoor setting transforms the landscape into a vibrant space for public art and cultural engagement. Botero firmly believed that art should be part of everyday life, inviting visitors to interact, take photographs and pause for reflection.
The second section, Heart of Volume, will showcase 118 works from the Botero family collection, spanning more than 70 years of the artist’s career. Including paintings, drawings and indoor sculptures, this exhibition will allow audiences to trace the evolution of Botero’s signature “Boterismo” style. Heart of Volume will be presented at the IMBA Theatre from 13 February 2026, with Early Bird tickets available from 30 January 2026.
The third section is the world’s first immersive Botero experience: “A Life in Fullness”. Also held at the IMBA Theatre, this exhibition has been developed in close collaboration with the Fernando Botero Foundation and is narrated by Fernando Botero Zea: the artist’s eldest son. Over the course of a 45-minute spectacle of light, sound, and vivid visual storytelling, visitors will be drawn into the personal narratives and emotional depth behind Botero’s extraordinary works. This immersive experience will open on 6 March 2026, with Early Bird tickets available from 30 January 2026 as well.
