ก้าวต่อไปที่มั่นคงของ Breguet กับการเปิดบูติคอย่างเป็นทางการแห่งแรกในประเทศไทย

250 ปีหลังจากการก่อตั้งแบรนด์ที่ปารีส เราก็ได้เห็นบูติคอย่างเป็นทางการเต็มรูปแบบแห่งแรกของ Breguet ในประเทศไทยที่บริเวณชั้น 1 ของ Iconsiam ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา บริเวณใกล้กับ Chaumet และ Van Cleef & Arpels ซึ่งล้วนแล้วแต่เป็นเพื่อนบ้านของ Breguet ที่จัตุรัสปลาซวองโดมใจกลางกรุงปารีส
Breguet อยู่ในตลาดไทยมานานกว่า 2 ทศวรรษแล้วก็จริง แต่ว่าจุดขายทั้งหมดที่ผ่านมาของ Breguet ในประเทศไทยเป็นการดำเนินงานโดยตัวแทนจำหน่ายทั้งหมด นี่เป็นครั้งแรกที่ตัวแบรนด์ Breguet มาเปิดบูติคเองเพื่อดูแลและมีปฏิสัมพันธ์กับลูกค้าคนรักนาฬิกาชาวไทยโดยตรง
การออกแบบเป็นไปตามดีไซน์ใหม่ล่าสุดของ Breguet เหมือนบูติคระดับแฟล็กชิปของทางแบรนด์บนถนนบานฮอฟสตราสในย่านช้อปปิ้งของซูริค รายละเอียดต่างๆ สะท้อนถึงความอบอุ่นในรูปแบบที่ร่วมสมัยยิ่งกว่าเดิมผ่านทางการใช้ไม้วอลนัทสีสบายตา หน้าท็อปที่เป็นหินอ่อนตัดและเส้นสายที่อ่อนช้อยอย่างสง่างาม แม้แต่พรมตามจุดต่างๆ ก็ยังมีลวดลายเหมือนกับการแกะสลักด้วยเครื่องกิโยเช่อย่างที่เป็นหนึ่งในซิกเนเจอร์สำคัญของ Breguet
พิธีเปิดบูติคแห่งนี้มีขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 19 มกราคม ช่วงค่ำคืนเดียวกันนั้นก็มีงานเลี้ยงอาหารค่ำบริเวณชั้น 8 ของห้างเพื่อให้ลูกค้าได้พบกับคุณเกรเกอรี คิซลิง ประธานเจ้าหน้าที่บริหารของ Breguet ซึ่งบินมานำเสนอนาฬิการุ่นฉลอง 250 ปีทั้งหมดด้วยตนเอง ลูกค้าและสื่อมวลชนทุกท่านที่ได้รับเชิญมาร่วมงานในวันนั้นล้วนแล้วแต่อิ่มเอมใจกับการได้ชมนาฬิการุ่นพิเศษที่ผลิตด้วยวัสดุเบรเกต์โกลด์ลิขสิทธิ์เฉพาะของทางแบรนด์ซึ่ง Breguet นำมาจัดแสดงเกือบครบจริงๆ ทั้งรุ่นของคุณผู้ชายและรุ่นของคุณผู้หญิง จะขาดก็เพียงนาฬิกาพก Classique Grande Sonnerie Métiers d’Art 1905 รุ่นเดียวเท่านั้น
สำหรับเรือนที่เป็นเซอร์ไพรส์ที่สุดก็น่าจะเป็น Expérimentale 1 นาฬิการุ่นแรกในไลน์ Expérimentale ใหม่ที่ Breguet จะใช้เป็นพื้นที่สำหรับการนำเสนอความล้ำที่จะนำพาแบรนด์ไปสู่อนาคต อย่าง Expérimentale 1 รุ่นแรกนี้ก็มีทั้งตูร์บิยองความถี่สูง 10 เฮิตซ์ซึ่งทำงานร่วมกับแม็กเนติกเอสเคปเมนท์ใหม่ที่สามารถส่งกำลังไปยังบาลานซ์ในรูปแบบคอนสแตนท์ฟอร์ซได้ โดยที่แต่ละองค์ประกอบนั้นล้วนแล้วแต่เป็นปัจจัยที่ทำให้นาฬิกามีความเที่ยงตรงสูงสุด
เดิมทีนั้น Breguet แจ้งเพียงว่าจะต้องมีนาฬิกา Expérimentale รุ่นต่อไปอย่างแน่นอน แต่ไม่ได้ระบุว่าอีกนานเท่าใด เราจึงถือโอกาสที่ได้พบกับคุณเกรเกอรีในครั้งนี้เพื่อถามตรงๆ เลย และได้คำตอบว่าคุณเขามีความตั้งใจจะเปิดตัวนาฬิกา Expérimentale อย่างต่อเนื่องสม่ำเสมอปีละ 1 รุ่นในช่วงปลายปี อย่างในเวลานี้ Expérimentale 2 ก็เป็นรูปเป็นร่างแล้ว และมีไอเดียต่อเนื่องไปถึง Expérimentale 5 แล้วด้วยซ้ำ ในเรื่องตัวเรือนนั้นก็สามารถเป็นดีไซน์อื่นได้ตามคอนเซปท์และความเหมาะสม จะไม่ใช่ตัวเรือน Marine แบบ Expérimentale 1 นี้เสมอไปอย่างแน่นอน

We welcome the brand’s first official boutique in Thailand at Iconsiam.

Two hundred and fifty years after the brand was founded in Paris, we have now been graced by the first full-fledged, official Breguet boutique in Thailand, located on the first floor of Iconsiam along the Chao Phraya River. The boutique sits near Chaumet and Van Cleef & Arpels, both of whom are neighbours of Breguet at Place Vendôme in the heart of Paris.
Breguet has been present in the Thai market for more than two decades, but until now their business in Thailand has been conducted entirely through authorised retailers. This marks the first time that Breguet themselves have opened a boutique in order to engage directly with Thai watch lovers and clients.
The interior follows Breguet’s latest design concept, similar to the brand’s flagship boutique on Bahnhofstrasse in Zurich. The details convey a warm and more contemporary atmosphere through the use of soothing walnut wood, marble-topped counters and elegantly flowing lines. Even the carpets feature patterns reminiscent of guilloché engraving: one of Breguet’s most important signatures.
The boutique officially opened on 19 January. That same evening, a dinner was held on the eighth floor of the shopping centre. Guests were received by Gregory Kissling, Chief Executive Officer of Breguet, who came to Bangkok to personally present the brand’s 250th anniversary creations. Clients and members of the press who attended were delighted to see an almost complete display of the special anniversary pieces crafted in proprietary Breguet gold, for both men and women. The only absence was the Classique Grande Sonnerie Métiers d’Art 1905 pocket watch.
Perhaps, the greatest surprise was Expérimentale 1. This is the first watch in Breguet’s new Expérimentale line which will serve as a platform for innovations that will guide the brand into the future. This inaugural model features a high-frequency 10-hertz tourbillon that works alongside a new magnetic escapement, capable of delivering constant force to the balance. These elements combine to achieve the highest precision possible.
Initially, Breguet only stated that another Expérimentale model would certainly follow, without specifying when. We therefore took the opportunity to ask Mr. Kissling directly, and he candidly explained that his intention is to introduce one new Expérimentale watch each year, towards the end of the year. At present, Expérimentale 2 is already taking shape, and ideas extend as far ahead as Expérimentale 5. The case design will also vary in accordance with the concept – it will not necessarily always be based on the Marine’s case as with the Expérimentale 1.
