“Private luxury” ไม่ใช่สโลแกนของ Parmigiani Fleurier แต่เรามักจะเห็นวลีลักษณะนี้ในคำอธิบายและเอกสารแนะนำนาฬิกาของเขา เพราะว่าเรือนเวลาแต่ละรุ่นของ Parmigiani Fleurier นั้นมีชั้นเชิงแบบไม่ฟุ้งเฟ้อ และคุณจะต้องเป็นคนรักนาฬิกาจริงๆ เท่านั้นจึงจะมองดูแล้วรู้ว่านาฬิกาเรือนนั้นมีความพิเศษอย่างไร

“Private luxury” is not Parmigiani Fleurier’s official slogan, but phrases such as this frequently appear in the brand’s communications and watch descriptions. Each Parmigiani Fleurier timepiece is imbued with an understated sophistication that does not seek attention – only true watch enthusiasts will recognise the quiet brilliance within.
The Toric collection, completely redesigned last year, exemplifies this philosophy. Not only are the cases made from precious metals such as platinum or gold, but the dials, hands and hour markers are also crafted entirely from gold. Even the movement components are made from gold, surpassing the level of refinement offered by most brands.
Following the overwhelmingly positive reception of the Toric Petite Seconde and the Toric Chronograph Rattrapante last year, Parmigiani Fleurier has swiftly introduced the next member of the collection in the form of the Toric Quantième Perpétuel. This new model features a 40.6 mm case, offered in two variations: the platinum version is paired with a morning blue dial and a grey nubuck alligator strap, while the rose gold version comes with a golden hour dial and a bluish grey strap. Both versions are limited to only 50 pieces each.
The Toric Quantième Perpétuel is powered by the hand-winding Calibre PF733 with a power reserve of 60 hours. Unlike most perpetual calendar watches, this model is distinguished by its elegant minimalism, showcased through a hand-grained dial. The subdial on the left combines day and date indicators, while the other one on the right displays both the month and the leap year cycle. When we asked Parmigiani Fleurier why the subdials are not placed at the vertically symmetrical positions of 9 and 3 o’clock, we learned that the slightly lower placement of the subdials helps reduce visual interference, allowing the wearer to focus on the time display alone when he does not need to consult the calendar itself.
