Seiko เปิดตัวนาฬิกาลิมิเต็ดเอดิชั่น 4 รุ่นเพื่อฉลองครบรอบ 145 ปีของการก่อตั้งบริษัท

คุณผู้อ่านเห็นพาดหัว 145 ปีแล้วอาจจะเริ่มสับสนว่าทำไมถึง 145 ปี ในเมื่อไม่นานมานี้เพิ่งเห็นนาฬิกาและอีเวนท์ฉลองครบรอบ 100 ปีอยู่เลย อันนั้นคือคนละเรื่องกันครับ ที่ครบรอบ 100 ปีเมื่อปี ค.ศ. 2024 นั้นคือครบรอบ 100 ปีของการใช้ชื่อ Seiko บนหน้าปัดนาฬิกา แต่ว่าตัวบริษัทที่กลายมาเป็นบริษัท Seiko อย่างที่เรารู้จักกันทุกวันนี้มีจุดกำเนิดเก่ากว่านั้นหรือตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1881 จึงมีอายุครบ 145 ปีแล้วในปีนี้นั่นเอง
เนื่องในโอกาสนี้ Seiko จึงเริ่มต้นปีอย่างยิ่งใหญ่ด้วยการเปิดตัวนาฬิกาลิมิเต็ดเอดิชั่นจำนวน 4 รุ่นที่ใช้ตัวเรือนดีไซน์ King Seiko, Prospex, Presage และ Astron ซึ่งตกแต่งตามจุดต่างๆ ดีเทลด้วยสีทองที่สื่อถึงความมุ่งมั่นของ Seiko ที่จะนำความสุขและความสวยงามมาสู่ชีวิตของผู้คน และบางรุ่นยังมีการทำหน้าปัดให้เป็นลวดลายเหมือนกับการแกะสลักบนนาฬิกาพกของคุณคินทาโระ ฮัตโตริซึ่งเป็นผู้ก่อตั้งบริษัทด้วย
เริ่มต้นกันที่ King Seiko KS1969 รหัส SJE121 จำนวน 800 เรือนที่มีหน้าปัดไล่สีจากเทาเข้มออกไปเป็นสีดำ ตัดด้วยหลักชั่วโมงและเข็มสีทอง ทำงานด้วยเครื่องแบบขึ้นลานอัตโนมัติรุ่นคาลิเบอร์ 6L35 กำลังลานสำรอง 45 ชั่วโมงในตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลขนาด 39.4 มม. และอีกรุ่นหนึ่ง คือ Prospex Speedtimer Mechanical Chronograph รหัส SRQ059 จำนวน 700 เรือนที่มีหน้าปัดสีขาวและทำงานด้วยเครื่องแบบขึ้นลานอัตโนมัติรุ่นคาลิเบอร์ 8R48 ซึ่งมีกำลังลานสำรอง 45 ชั่วโมงในตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลขนาด 42 มม.
ส่วนอีก 2 รุ่นนั้นมีดีไซน์ที่แตกต่างกันออกไปอย่างมาก ได้แก่ Presage Classic Series “Craftsmanship” Enamel Dial รหัส SPB538 จำนวน 1,450 เรือนซึ่งให้ความรู้สึกแบบวินเทจสูงสุดเพราะมีนาฬิกาพกชื่อ Timekeeper จากในอดีตของ Seiko เป็นแรงบันดาลใจ เริ่มต้นตั้งแต่ตัวเลขโรมันสีดำและเข็มสีทองทรงเพรียวยาวบนหน้าปัดเอนาเมลสีขาว ภายในตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลขนาด 35 มม. เคลือบสีทองซึ่งมีเม็ดมะยมทรงหัวหอมอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ สวมใส่ด้วยสายหนังดีไซน์พิเศษที่มีลักษณะเป็นแถบยาวคล้ายกำไลข้อมือ ภายในทำงานด้วยเครื่องแบบขึ้นลานอัตโนมัติรุ่นคาลิเบอร์ 6R51 ซึ่งมีกำลังลานสำรองมากถึง 72 ชั่วโมงเลยทีเดียว
และรุ่นสุดท้ายคือความล้ำที่เฉียบคมของ Seiko Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph รหัส SSH186 จำนวน 1,450 เรือนที่มีตัวเรือนขนาด 44.1 มม. และสายนาฬิกาที่ผลิตจากไทเทเนียมและเคลือบสีดำด้วยกระะบวนการฮาร์ดโค้ทติ้ง ตัดด้วยดีเทลสีทองบริเวณขอบตัวเรือน ข้อสายและเม็ดมะยม โดยนาฬิการุ่นนี้ทำงานด้วยเครื่องแบบควอตซ์รุ่นคาลิเบอร์ 5X83 ซึ่งทำงานด้วยพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ สามารถบอกเวลาในประเทศที่สองได้ด้วยหน้าปัดขนาดเล็กที่ตำแหน่ง 6 นาฬิกา และจะเชื่อมต่อกับดาวเทียมจีพีเอสวันละ 2 ครั้งโดยอัตโนมัติเพื่อปรับตั้งเวลาให้เที่ยงตรงอย่างต่อเนื่อง
ขณะนี้ของทั้งหมดยังไม่เข้าประเทศไทยจึงยังไม่มีการประกาศราคาเป็นบาท แต่เรารู้ราคาเป็นยูโรแล้ว คือ รุ่น SJE121 ราคา 3,200 ยูโร รุ่น SRQ059 ราคา 2,700 ยูโร รุ่น SPB538 ราคา 2,000 ยูโร และ รุ่น SSH186 ราคา 3,400 ยูโร คุณผู้อ่านสามารถติดต่อบูติคและเคาน์เตอร์ของ Seiko เพื่อแจ้งความสนใจล่วงหน้าได้ก่อนที่ของจะเริ่มทยอยส่งออกสู่ประเทศต่างๆ ในโลกตั้งแต่เดือนกุมภาพันธ์เป็นต้นไป

When you see the headline marking 145 years, you may initially be confused, given that not long ago there were watches and events celebrating the 100th anniversary. These are, in fact, two different milestones. The centenary celebrated in 2024 marked 100 years since the name Seiko was first used on watch dials. However, the company that eventually became Seiko as we know them today has an earlier origin, dating back to 1881, which means they reach their 145th anniversary this year.
To mark the occasion, Seiko have begun the year in grand fashion with the launch of four limited edition models based on the King Seiko, Prospex, Presage and Astron designs. Each features gold-toned details on various elements, symbolising Seiko’s commitment to bringing joy and beauty into people’s lives. Certain models also feature dial patterns inspired by the engraved decoration found on the pocket watches of Kintaro Hattori, the company’s founder.
The first of these is the King Seiko KS1969, reference SJE121, limited to 800 pieces. It features a gradient dial that transitions from dark grey to black, contrasted by gold-coloured hour markers and hands. The watch is powered by the self-winding Calibre 6L35, offering a power reserve of 45 hours, and is housed in a 39.4 mm stainless steel case. The second model is the Prospex Speedtimer Mechanical Chronograph, reference SRQ059, limited to 700 pieces. This one has a white dial and is driven by the self-winding Calibre 8R48, also with a 45-hour power reserve, within a 42 mm stainless steel case.
The remaining two models differ markedly in design. The Presage Classic Series “Craftsmanship” Enamel Dial, reference SPB538, limited to 1,450 pieces, delivers an unmistakable vintage character, drawing inspiration from Seiko’s historic Timekeeper pocket watch. This influence is evident in the black Roman numerals and gold-coloured slender hands that are set against a white enamel dial. The 35 mm stainless steel case is gold-coloured and features a distinctive onion-shaped crown. It is worn on a specially designed leather strap with a one-piece, bracelet-like form. Beating inside is the self-winding Calibre 6R51, offering a generous 72-hour power reserve.
The final model showcases Seiko’s sharp, forward-looking stance in the form of the Astron GPS Solar Dual-Time Chronograph, reference SSH186, also limited to 1,450 pieces. It features a 44.1 mm case and bracelet made from titanium with a black hard-coated finish, accented by gold-toned details on the bezel, bracelet links and crown. This watch is powered by the solar-powered quartz Calibre 5X83, capable of displaying a second time zone via a subdial at six o’clock. It connects automatically to GPS satellites twice a day to ensure absolute accuracy.
At the time of this writing, these models have not yet arrived in Thailand, and local pricing has therefore not been announced. European prices are, however, confirmed as follows: the SJE121 at EUR 3,200, the SRQ059 at EUR 2,700, the SPB538 at EUR 2,000, and the SSH186 at EUR 3,400. Readers may contact Seiko boutiques and counters to register their interest in advance, ahead of global deliveries that will begin from February onwards.
