SPB511J มีหน้าปัดลายเกลียวคลื่นสีเงินในตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลเคลือบซูเปอร์ฮาร์ดโคทติ้งขนาด 40 มม. หนา 13.0 มม. กันน้ำได้ 300 เมตร แซฟไฟร์คริสตอลมีการเคลือบสารป้องกันแสงสะท้อนด้านใน ทำงานด้วยเครื่องนาฬิกาแบบขึ้นลานอัตโนมัติรุ่นคาลิเบอร์ 6R55 ที่มีกำลังลานสำรอง 72 ชั่วโมง สวมใส่ด้วยสายแบบเบรซเลทพร้อมบานพับแบบสามทบที่มีปุ่มกดเปิดและระบบขยายความยาวของสายในตัว
ส่วนทางด้าน SPB509J ที่เป็นดีไซน์จากรุ่นปี ค.ศ. 1968 นั้นมีหน้าปัดลายเกลียวคลื่นสีน้ำเงินในตัวเรือนเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลเคลือบซูเปอร์ฮาร์ดโคทติ้งขนาด 42 มม. หนา 13.3 มม. กันน้ำได้ 300 เมตร แซฟไฟร์คริสตอลและสายนาฬิกามีคุณสมบัติแบบเดียวกันกับรุ่น SPB511J แต่ที่แตกต่างก็คือเครื่องนาฬิกาซึ่งเป็นรุ่นคาลิเบอร์ 6R54 ที่เพิ่มเติมฟังก์ชั่นการบอกเวลาในประเทศที่สองเข้ามา (เข็ม 24 ชั่วโมงสีทองแบบปรับตั้งอิสระ)
และไม่เพียงเท่านั้น Seiko ยังมี Prospex Marinemaster Professional Seiko Diver’s Watch 60th Anniversary Limited Edition (SLA081J) อีกรุ่นสำหรับคนที่ชอบนาฬิกาเรือนใหญ่เป็นพิเศษด้วยขนาดเส้นผ่าศูนย์กลาง 45.4 มม. หนา 16.0 มม. แต่ว่ามีน้ำหนักเบาเพราะผลิตจากไทเทเนียม และกันน้ำได้ถึง 600 เมตร หน้าปัดจึงเป็นการไล่สีน้ำเงินเข้มเพื่อสื่อถึงห้วงความลึกของทะเล เครื่องนาฬิกาแบบขึ้นลานอัตโนมัติรุ่นคาลิบอร์ 8L45 และจำกัดจำนวนการผลิตอยู่เพียงแค่ 600 เรือนเท่านั้น

Seiko has long been a pioneer in the field of dive watch manufacturing, beginning with the launch of the model known by the reference 62MAS in 1965. This was not only Seiko’s first dive watch but also the first of its kind produced in Japan. Housed in a water-resistant case rated to 150 metres and powered by an automatic movement, the watch’s robustness was proven when it accompanied members of the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition between 1966 and 1969.
Just three years later, in 1968, Seiko introduced its second dive watch, which boasted double the water resistance at 300 metres. A notable design evolution was the repositioning of the crown to 4 o’clock for improved wearing comfort.
Today, watch enthusiasts around the world have the opportunity to own pieces inspired by both of these iconic models, as Seiko celebrates the 60th anniversary of their first diver’s watch with the release of the Prospex 1965 Heritage Diver’s Watch Seiko Diver’s Watch 60th Anniversary Limited Edition (SPB511J) and the Prospex 1968 Heritage Diver’s GMT Watch Seiko Diver’s Watch 60th Anniversary Limited Edition (SPB509J), each limited to 6,000 pieces.
The SPB511J features a silver, wave pattern dial set within a stainless steel case with super-hard coating that measures 40 mm in diameter and 13.0 mm in thickness. Water resistant to 300 metres, the watch is equipped with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on the inside, and powered by the self-winding Calibre 6R55, offering a 72-hour power reserve. It is worn on a stainless steel bracelet with a three-fold clasp featuring push-button release and a built-in extension mechanism.
The SPB509J, based on the 1968 model, is housed in a 42 mm stainless steel case with the same super-hard coating and measures 13.3 mm in thickness. Like the SPB511J, it offers water resistance to 300 metres and features the same sapphire crystal and bracelet specifications. However, the Calibre 6R54 used inside offers an additional GMT function with an independently adjustable 24-hour hand in gold colour for tracking a second time zone.
Lastly, for those who prefer larger watches, Seiko also offers the Prospex Marinemaster Professional Seiko Diver’s Watch 60th Anniversary Limited Edition (SLA081J). Measuring 45.4 mm in diameter and 16.0 mm in thickness, this timepiece is water resistant to 600 metres while not weighing too much, thanks to the use of lightweight titanium. The dial features a graduated deep blue hue, evoking the profound depths of the ocean. It is powered by the self-winding Calibre 8L45 and is limited to just 600 pieces worldwide.
