จะบอกว่า “เล่นใหญ่อีกแล้ว” ก็คงไม่ถูกนัก เพราะ Jacob & Co. เคยทำนาฬิกาอะไรที่ดูธรรมดาเสียที่ไหนกัน อย่างกลไกตูร์บิยองนี้ Jacob & Co. ก็คิดค้นและดัดแปลงมามากมายหลายแบบแล้ว ตั้งแต่ตูร์บิยองแบบปกติ ฟลายอิ้งตูร์บิยอง ตูร์บิยองแบบสองแกน สามแกน สี่แกน ฯลฯ ในครั้งนี้ไอเดียใหม่ของทางแบรนด์ก็คือการทำตูร์บิยองที่หมุนด้วยความเร็วสูงสุดเพียง 4 วินาทีต่อรอบเท่านั้น ในขณะที่กลไกตูร์บิยองทั่วไปเกือบทั้งหมดในวงการนาฬิกานั้นใช้เวลาหมุน 60 วินาทีต่อรอบ
นาฬิการุ่นนี้มีชื่อว่า God of Time และนำเสนอรูปแกะสลักของเทพโครโนสแห่งกาลเวลาซึ่งแกะสลักจากโรสโกลด์ 18 กะรัตด้วยความประณีตในทุกรายละเอียดของร่างกาย เส้นผม หนวดเครา ตลอดจนชุดผ้าคลุม จนดูมีมิติสูงต่ำอย่างชัดเจน แล้วยังใช้กระบวนการรมดำช่วยเพื่อให้เกิดพาทิน่าเหมือนเป็นวัตถุโบราณ
ท่าทางของเทพโครโนสนั้นกำลังประคองและจ้องมองมายังกรงตูร์บิยองความเร็วสูงขนาด 12 มม. ซึ่งมีน้ำหนักเบาเพียง 0.27 กรัมเท่านั้นเพื่อให้สิ้นเปลืองพลังงานของเครื่องน้อยที่สุด ทั้งหมดดูเหมือนลอยอยู่บนหน้าปัดอเวนจูรีนสีน้ำเงินที่ระยิบระยับราวกับห้วงอวกาศ ภายในตัวเรือนโรสโกลด์ขนาด 44.5 มม. ซึ่งได้รับการตกแต่งให้ได้ฟีลเหมือนกับวิหารกรีกโบราณด้วยลวดลายเสาสไตล์ไอโอนิกบนแถบด้านข้างตัวเรือน

This spectacular timepiece watch was developed to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the brand’s founder.

The creations from Jacob & Co. is never short of being. Where the tourbillon is concerned, the brand has already conceived the design in countless forms, from the classic tourbillon and flying tourbillon to two-axis, three-axis and even four-axis constructions. This time, their new idea is a tourbillon that rotates at an extraordinary speed of just four seconds per revolution, whereas almost all traditional tourbillons across the watch industry complete one rotation in 60 seconds.
This 2026 novelty is called the God of Time. It features a sculptural depiction of Chronos that is exquisitely carved in 18K rose gold. Every detail is rendered with remarkable precision, from the anatomy of the figure to the hair, beard and flowing cloak, giving the sculpture a striking sense of depth and dimension. A burnished finishing process has also been applied to create a patina reminiscent of an ancient artefact.
Here, Chronos is shown cradling and gazing towards a 12 mm high-speed tourbillon cage which weighs only 0.27 grams in order to minimise energy consumption. The entire composition appears to float above a shimmering blue aventurine dial, evoking the vastness of outer space. Everything is housed within a 44.5 mm rose gold case, decorated along the sides with Ionic column motifs to to resemble an ancient Greek temple.
Jacob & Co. has positioned the tourbillon on the right side of the dial so that it becomes the first element the owner see when the watch emerges from beneath the left shirt cuff. The crown at 9 o’clock is used solely for setting the time. To wind the movement to achieve its full 60-hour power reserve, one uses a hidden crown that is integrated into the caseback, next to the image of Jacob Arabo, the brand’s founder. This watch was developed to celebrate Jacob Arabo’s 60th birthday and will be produced in a limited edition of only 60 pieces. It is paired with a blue alligator leather strap that harmonises beautifully with the aventurine dial.
