SHH Pendulum ที่ชั้น M ศูนย์การค้า Siam Paragon เปิดให้บริการตั้งแต่เดือนกันยายน ค.ศ. 2023 ในฐานะบูติค Sincere Haute Horlogerie แห่งแรกที่ตั้งอยู่นอกประเทศสิงคโปร์ หลังจากนั้นจึงมีการเปิดสาขา SHH เพิ่มเติมที่กัวลาลัมเปอร์และไทเปตามลำดับ
นักสะสมนาฬิกาชาวไทยรู้สึกยินดีกับพัฒนาการนี้เป็นอย่างมากเพราะว่า SHH นั้นนำเสนอเรือนเวลาระดับไฮเอ็นด์จากแบรนด์ต่างๆ ซึ่งส่วนมากจัดอยู่ในกลุ่มอินดีเพนเดนท์ ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ทางบูติคนำเสนอมีสไตล์ที่หลากหลายเป็นอย่างมาก ตั้งแต่ที่มีดีไซน์สุดล้ำอย่าง Jacob & Co. ไปจนถึงผลงานที่มีการแสดงค่าในทางดาราศาสตร์อันละเอียดอ่อนของ และในครั้งนี้ คุณโจเซฟ วี กรรมการผู้จัดการ Pendulum Thailand ก็ได้ให้เกียรติตอบทุกคำถามที่เราอยากรู้เกี่ยวกับความพิเศษที่บูติคแห่งนี้สามารถนำเสนอให้กับตลาดไทยได้
SHH แตกต่างจากตัวแทนจำหน่ายนาฬิการายอื่นๆ อย่างไรครับ
SHH เป็นคอนเซปท์สโตร์ที่คัดสรรและนำเสนอนาฬิกาจากแบรนด์กลุ่มอินดีเพนเดนท์อันทรงเกียรติ เรานำเสนอประสบการณ์แห่งความลักชัวรีอีกขั้นหนึ่งให้กับนักสะสมนาฬิกาผู้มีรสนิยม การตกแต่งและบรรยากาศในพื้นที่ของเราตลอดจนผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ผ่านการคัดสรรมาเป็นอย่างดีล้วนแล้วแต่แสดงออกซึ่งความเอ็กซ์คลูสีฟและความมีเสน่ห์ของเนื้องาน คอนเซปท์ของ SHH คือการนำเสนอแบรนด์กลุ่มอินดีเพนเดนท์เหล่านี้ภายในบูติคแห่งเดียวกันใน 4 ประเทศ ได้แก่ มาเลเซีย สิงคโปร์ ไต้หวันและไทย SHH จึงเป็นการสดุดีงานฝีมืออันทรงคุณค่าและรายละเอียดอันน่าประทับใจของงานประดิษฐ์นาฬิกาแบบอินดีเพนเดนท์ และเป็นการนำเสนอเรือนเวลาที่บรรจงสร้างสรรค์ดุจงานศิลป์อย่างแท้จริง
การตกแต่งภายในใช้โทนสีทองและสีแดงเป็นหลักเพราะว่าอะไรครับ
เนื่องจากนาฬิกาที่เราคัดเลือกมานั้นเป็นดั่งงานศิลป์ดังที่กล่าวไป บรรยากาศที่เราใช้เพื่อนำเสนอผลงานเหล่านี้ก็ควรจะมอบความรู้สึกระดับพรีเมียมด้วยเช่นกัน เราจึงใช้สีแนวเอิร์ธโทนแบบวอร์มคอปเปอร์เป็นธีมหลักในการตกแต่งภายใน ทั้งหมดนี้ตัดด้วยพื้นผิวที่มีความมันเงาอย่างเช่นบริเวณขอบเพดาน ผลลัพธ์ที่ได้คือบูติคที่เชื้อเชิญให้คนเข้ามา แต่ในขณะเดียวกันก็ยังมีลูกเล่นให้สเปซดูมีหลายเลเยอร์ แต่โดยรวมคือเป็นบรรยากาศแห่งความมีระดับที่ดูสดใสครับ
ทำไมเราจึงไม่เห็นการแบ่งพื้นที่แบบช็อปอินช็อปและไม่มีการขึ้นชื่อแบรนด์นาฬิกาเหมือนที่อื่นๆ

ตอนนี้บูติคของเรามีแบรนด์ประมาณ 25 แบรนด์แล้ว ราคาเริ่มต้นเราอยู่ที่ประมาณ 500,000 บาทขึ้นไป สูงสุดเรามีแบรนด์อย่าง Greubel Forsey และ Jacob & Co. ที่มีราคาเกิน 20 ล้านหรือเกิน 100 ล้านก็มีครับ
ดูเหมือนว่าห้องรับรองพิเศษจะเป็นหนึ่งในองค์ประกอบสำคัญของบูติค SHH
ห้องรับรองนี้มีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งต่อการออกแบบบูติค SHH แต่ละแห่ง เพราะเมื่อคุณจะเลือกซื้อเรือนเวลาในระดับนี้ คุณจะต้องค่อยๆ พิจารณารายละเอียดต่างๆ อย่างลึกซึ้ง เราจึงออกแบบห้องรับรองส่วนตัวนี้ขึ้นมาให้นักสะสมได้ชื่นชมเรือนเวลาในบรรยากาศที่สะดวกสบายและเป็นส่วนตัวมากที่สุด พร้อมไวน์บาร์สุดเอ็กซ์คลูสีฟโดยเฉพาะ และเรายังใช้ห้องนี้เพื่อการนัดพบเป็นกลุ่มเล็กๆ หรือการพูดคุยกับผู้บริหารจากแบรนด์ต่างๆ ด้วย พื้นที่แห่งนี้จึงกลายเป็นจุดศูนย์กลางใหม่สำหรับนักสะสมในการพบปะและชื่นชมนาฬิการุ่นต่างๆ ร่วมกันครับ
ลูกค้าชาวไทยเปิดใจรับแบรนด์ระดับนิชต่างๆ เพียงใดครับ
ตลาดไทยเป็นตลาดที่มีความคึกคักและมีเทรนด์ที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไปอยู่ตลอดเวลา เราจึงจำเป็นต้องมองหาแบรนด์ที่จะตอบโจทย์ความต้องการอันหลากหลายของลูกค้าของเราได้ ผมคิดว่าเวลาที่ลูกค้าซื้อนาฬิกาที่ระดับราคาสูงเช่นนี้ ลูกค้าไม่ได้ต้องการเพียงแค่ตัวผลิตภัณฑ์เท่านั้น แต่เขาย่อมคาดหวังว่าจะได้รับการบริการที่จัดเตรียมเพื่อเขาโดยเฉพาะ มีการดูแลหลังการขายที่ดี และได้รับประสบการณ์แห่งความลักชัวรีอย่างแท้จริง ทุกวันนี้ลูกค้าไม่ได้ซื้อนาฬิกาเพื่อบอกเวลานะครับ ลูกค้าซื้อนาฬิกาเพื่อบอกมูลค่าของเวลาและความสำคัญของมันครับ

Launched in September 2023 to the delight of local watch collectors, SHH Pendulum on the M floor of Siam Paragon introduced the Sincere Haute Horlogerie concept to Bangkok as the first location outside Singapore, preceding openings in Kuala Lumpur and Taipei. The boutique aims to offer the latest and finest creations from primarily independent brands in the industry. Its highly curated portfolio ranges from the avant-garde designs of Jacob & Co. to the intricate astronomical masterpieces of Christiaan van der Klaauw.
Joseph Wee, General Manager of Pendulum Thailand, shared insights with us on how SHH Pendulum is contributing to Thailand’s ever-growing watch scene.
Please tell us more about SHH and the differences it offers.
SHH is a concept store dedicated to curating and purveying timepieces from esteemed independent watch brands, offering an elevated luxury experience for discerning watch collectors. From the decor and ambiance of our spaces to the carefully curated merchandise, it exudes a strong sense of exclusivity and artisanal charm. The SHH concept is the curation of the finest independent watch brands, all housed in one location across four countries: Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, and Thailand. SHH is a celebration of the masterful craftsmanship and captivating details of independent watchmaking, presenting exquisitely crafted timepieces as true works of art.
We can see the dominance of gold and red in your interior decoration.
Just as the watches on display tend towards the level of art, so too should the environment in which they are showcased. To ensure a premium experience, subtle variations of warm copper earth tones are the dominant color theme of the interior design. These are set off against areas of reflective mirrored surfaces mostly along the upper edges of the ceiling. The overall effect is inviting, yet multi-layered in visual interest, and overall, exudes an air of vibrant sophistication.
Unlike most watch boutiques with shop-in-shop arrangements, we do not see any kind of watch branding here.
Here at SHH, our approach is deeply rooted in creating a unified and immersive experience for our customers. We envision our boutiques as a holistic “Maison concept”. This deliberate design allows us to curate an immersive, hyper-personalised journey of discovery. We encourage our clients to discover the artistry, craftsmanship, and stories behind the timepieces on a guided tour by our sales representatives.
How many brands do you represent at this time? And what is the range of prices?
We carry about 25 brands currently. The starting price is from approximately 500,000 baht. For certain brands like Greubel Forsey and Jacob & Co., certain pieces can have a price tag upward of 20 million baht or even 100 million baht.
Your private lounge is a key feature of the boutique, and it is so spacious one can actually host a function here.
The inclusion of the private lounge was an essential element in the construction of the SHH space, given the nature of exquisite timepieces, whose enjoyment comes from the close examination of their details. Collectors can use the lounge to view selected timepieces in comfort and privacy, complemented by a dedicated wine bar. It also serves as a space for intimate gatherings or VIP meetings with brand principals, becoming a new focal point for collectors to connect and indulge their passion.
How open are Thai customers to the idea of buying the more niche watch brands?
The Thai market is dynamic, with trends constantly evolving. It’s essential for us to identify brands that cater to the diverse preferences of our clients. When purchasing a high-value timepiece, customers seek more than just a product – they look for personalised service, dedicated after-sales care, and an immersive luxury experience. Clients buy watches not just to tell time, but to express the value of time and the significance behind it.
Going forward, what do you see as the untapped opportunity that you will want to work on for SHH Pendulum?
Our goal is to expand and diversify our customer base by nurturing the next generation of watch enthusiasts. We aim to foster a deeper appreciation for horology through education and engagement, creating meaningful connections between fine watchmaking and the brands we represent. This approach cultivates future collectors while strengthening our partnerships with the brands.
