นอกจากความคึกคักทางฝั่งของ Orient ที่ฉลองครบรอบ 75 ปีในปีนี้แล้ว Orient Star ซึ่งมีอายุน้อยกว่าเพียงแค่ 1 ปีก็มีผลิตภัณฑ์ใหม่ๆ ที่ดูสะดุดตาออกมาหลายรุ่นด้วยเช่นกันตามสโลแกน Capture Your Gaze ที่หลายท่านน่าจะคุ้นตากันดีแล้ว โดยมีอยู่รุ่นหนึ่งที่เรายังไม่ได้นำเสนอให้คุณผู้อ่านได้รู้จักก็คือรุ่น Layered Skeleton ซึ่งมีตัวเรือนสเตนเลสสตีลขนาด 41 มม.

สำหรับ Layered Skeleton ใหม่นี้ก็มีหน้าปัดโทนสีอารมณ์ทะเลในแถบเมดิเตอเรเนียนให้เลือก 2 สีด้วยกัน ภายใต้ธีมสีเอิร์ธโทนสำหรับกลุ่มผลิตภัณฑ์ Contemporary ของ Orient Star ในปีนี้ ได้แก่ รุ่น RE-AV0B11E หน้าปัดสีมินต์กรีนท์ที่สวมใส่ด้วยสายแบบเบรซเลทซึ่งเป็นลิมิเต็ดเอดิชั่นจำนวน 700 เรือน และรุ่น RE-AV0B10G หน้าปัดสีแชมเปญโกลด์ที่สวมใส่ด้วยสายหนังสีน้ำตาลและผลิตขายแบบคอลเลคชั่นปกติในระยะยาว

In addition to the vibrant activities surrounding Orient’s 75th anniversary this year, Orient Star, which is only one year younger, has also introduced several eye-catching new models under their familiar slogan “Capture Your Gaze”. One model that has not yet been featured in our coverage is the Layered Skeleton, housed in a 41 mm stainless steel case.
The Orient Star Layered Skeleton features what can be described as a semi-skeletonised dial, with partial cut-outs which in this case is a paisley-shaped aperture on the left side, offering a glimpse of the balance wheel of the in-house Calibre F6F44. This movement offers a daily accuracy range of +25/-15 seconds and a power reserve of up to 50 hours, indicated by a hand at 12 o’clock – a hallmark of Orient Star watches, all of which are still produced in Japan.
The new Layered Skeleton is offered in two Mediterranean-inspired dial colours, in line with this year’s earth-tone theme for Orient Star’s Contemporary collection. These include the RE-AV0B11E, featuring a mint green dial with a stainless steel bracelet and limited to 700 pieces; and, the RE-AV0B10G, which has a champagne gold dial with a brown leather strap and will remain part of the brand’s regular collection.
