จีโน่ อาฒยา ฐิติกุล คว้าชัยในรายการ Honda LPGA Thailand 2026 ตามความคาดหมาย

จีโน่ อาฒยา ฐิติกุลของไทยฉายแววตั้งแต่วัย 14 ปีด้วยการเป็นนักกอล์ฟหญิงที่ชนะการแข่งขันระดับอาชีพด้วยอายุน้อยที่สุดในรายการ Ladies European Thailand Championship เมื่อปี 2017 ก่อนจะเทิร์นโปรในปี 2020 และมีผลงานดีต่อเนื่องจนกระทั่งได้เป็นชาวไทยคนแรกที่ได้รับเกียรติในฐานะเทสติโมนีของ Rolex เมื่อปี 2023
ข้อมูลล่าสุด ณ วันที่ 16 กุมภาพันธ์ จีโน่อยู่ในอันดับที่ 1 ของการจัดอันดับ Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings ด้วย 437.53 คะแนนจาก 38 การแข่งขัน เธอจึงเป็นที่จับตามองเมื่อการแข่งขัน Honda LPGA Thailand ครั้งที่ 19 เริ่มต้นขึ้นในวันพฤหัสบดีที่ 19 กุมภาพันธ์ที่ Siam Country Club Old Course จังหวัดชลบุรี ก่อนที่เธอจะคว้าชัยได้สำเร็จเมื่อจบการแข่งขันในวันอาทิตย์ที่ 22 กุมภาพันธ์ ถือเป็นชัยชนะในรายการ LPGA ครั้งที่ 8 แล้วของเธอ
Honda LPGA Thailand นั้นเป็นการแข่งขันกอล์ฟรายการเดียวในประเทศที่ได้รับการรับรองจาก Ladies Professional Golf Association หรือ LPGA มีจำนวนผู้เข้าแข่งขันทั้งสิ้น 72 ท่าน และมีเงินรางวัลรวม 1.8 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ World of Watches Thailand ไม่ได้อยู่ที่สนามในวันสุดท้าย แต่เราได้ไปชมบรรยากาศในวันแรกด้วยความกรุณาของ Rolex ในฐานะหนึ่งในพาร์ทเนอร์รายสำคัญของการแข่งขันซึ่งมีห้อง Rolex Suite บริเวณหลุม 18 ไว้รองรับลูกค้าจากตัวแทนจำหน่ายรายต่างๆ ในประเทศไทยโดยเฉพาะ สำหรับบุคคลทั่วไปนั้นก็จะเห็นนาฬิกา Rolex ขนาดใหญ่แบบ 3 ด้านได้บริเวณใกล้กับแกรนด์สแตนด์และคลับเฮาส์ และยังมีนาฬิกา Rolex ลักษณะเดียวกันประจำอยู่ที่จุดทีออฟของหลุมต่างๆ ด้วย
อนึ่ง Rolex มีส่วนร่วมในการพัฒนาวงการกอล์ฟมานานเกือบ 60 ปีแล้ว ทั้งนี้ก็เพราะว่ากีฬากอล์ฟนั้นก็เป็นเรื่องของความแม่นยำ ความเป็นเลิศ และการแสดงออกซึ่งความเคารพและความถ่อมตนเหมือนกับงานประดิษฐ์นาฬิกาอันเป็นหัวใจสำคัญในการดำเนินงานของ Rolex โดยในช่วงเริ่มแรกนั้น Rolex ให้การสนับสนุนผู้เล่นเป็นรายบุคคลตั้งแต่ยุคของ The Big Three ซึ่งประกอบด้วยอาร์โนลด์ พาล์มเมอร์, แจ็ค นิคคลอส และ แกรี่ เพลเยอร์ ก่อนที่จะขยายไปเป็นพันธมิตรกับองค์กรผู้จัดการแข่งขันการแข่งขันในทวีปต่างๆ ในภายหลัง ไม่ว่าจะเป็น PGA Tour, DP World Tour, Asian Tour และ Ladies European Tour หรือ LET
สำหรับ Ladies Professional Golf Association หรือ LPGA นั้น Rolex ก็เป็นพันธมิตรรายสำคัญมาตั้งแต่ปี ค.ศ. 1980 และเพิ่งจะเริ่มมีส่วนร่วมในรายการ Honda LPGA ในประเทศไทยเป็นครั้งแรกเมื่อปี 2024

Jeeno Atthaya Thitikul first emerged on the international stage at the age of just 14, becoming the youngest golfer ever to win a professional tournament at the 2017 Ladies European Thailand Championship. She turned professional in 2020 and has continued to deliver strong performances ever since, ultimately becoming the first Thai person to be honoured as a Rolex Testimonee in 2023.
As of 16 February, she ranked No. 1 in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings with 437.53 points accumulated from 38 tournaments. She was therefore closely watched as the 19th Honda LPGA Thailand commenced on Thursday 19 February at Siam Country Club Old Course in Chonburi. She went on to secure victory when the tournament concluded on Sunday 22 February. It is her eight LPGA win.
Honda LPGA Thailand featured a field of 72 players competing for a total prize purse of USD 1.8 million. It is the only golf tournament in the country officially sanctioned by the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). We were not there on the final day of competition. However, we had the opportunity to experience the ambiance on the opening day through the courtesy of Rolex in their capacity as one of the tournament’s key partners. A dedicated Rolex Suite overlooking the 18th hole was arranged to host clients from various authorised dealers across Thailand. For the members of the general spectators, Rolex’s presence was unmistakable, with their iconic three-sided clocks prominently positioned near the grandstand and clubhouse, as well as a single-sided one at tee-off points across the course.
Notably, Rolex has been actively involved in the development of golf for nearly 60 years. This enduring commitment stems from the shared values between the sport and the art of watchmaking which are precision, excellence and a deep respect for tradition – the very qualities at the core of the Genevan firm. In the early years, Rolex supported individual players, beginning with the legendary trio known as The Big Three: Arnold Palmer, Jack Nicklaus, and Gary Player. Over time, this support expanded into partnerships with major tournament organisers across continents, including the PGA Tour, DP World Tour, Asian Tour, and the Ladies European Tour (LET).
As for the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA), Rolex has been an important partner with them since 1980. The involvement was further strengthened in 2024 through the association with the Honda LPGA tournament in Thailand.
