Luminox จัดกิจกรรมสุดเอ็กซ์คลูซีฟเมื่อวันที่ 26-28 พฤศจิกายนที่ผ่านมาเพื่อเปิดตัวนาฬิการุ่นพิเศษ MIL-SPEC Thailand Limited Edition ซึ่งได้รับแรงบันดาลใจมาจากภูมิประเทศที่สวยงามและแข็งแกร่งของ “สามพันโบก” สถานที่ท่องเที่ยวชื่อดังลุ่มแม่น้ำโขงของจังหวัดอุบลราชธานีซึ่งขึ้นชื่อว่าเป็น “แกรนด์แคนยอนแห่งประเทศไทย” โดยมีผู้บริหาร บริษัท ศรีทองพาณิชย์ จำกัด ในฐานะตัวแทนจำหน่ายนาฬิกา Luminox ในประเทศไทย และแขกรับเชิญสายเดินป่าอย่างคุณแชมป์ ชนาธิป โพธิ์ทองคำ และ คุณแซมมี่ เคาวเวลล์ ร่วมเดินทางไปกับสื่อมวลชนแขนงต่างๆ ด้วย
เริ่มต้นกิจกรรมในวันแรกของทริปกันด้วยการศึกษาประวัติศาสตร์ของจังหวัดอุบลราชธานีตั้งแต่สมัยโบราณที่พิพิธภัณฑสถานแห่งชาติ อุบลราชธานี ก่อนที่คณะจะลงเรือที่หาดสลึงเพื่อเดินทางชมธรรมชาติธรณีวิทยาของแม่น้ำโขง ก่อนที่ทุกคนจะได้สัมผัสกับไฮไลท์ของทริปในวันที่สองของการเดินทาง นั่นก็คือการไปเยือนสามพันโบกและหาดหงส์ เพราะทั้งสองสถานที่นี้เป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการออกแบบนาฬิการุ่นล่าสุดของ Luminox อย่าง MIL-SPEC Thailand Limited Edition
นาฬิการุ่นพิเศษที่ผลิตเพียงแค่ 200 เรือนและจะวางจำหน่ายเฉพาะในประเทศไทยรุ่นนี้ออกแบบบนพื้นฐานของ Luminox รุ่น MIL-SPEC 3350 ตัวเรือนขนาด 46 มม. ผลิตจากวัสดุคาร์บอนน็อกซ์พลัสสีดำที่มีน้ำหนักเบากว่าสเตนเลสสตีลถึง 6 เท่า ขอบตัวเรือนแบบหมุนได้ทิศทางเดียวผลิตจากไทเทเนียมจึงมีความทนทานต่อการกัดกร่อนของน้ำทะเล โดยที่โครงสร้างของนาฬิการุ่นนี้มีความแข็งแกร่งตามมาตรฐาน MIL-SPEC หรือ Military Specification MIL-PRF-46374G ที่กำหนดโดยกระทรวงกลาโหมของสหรัฐอเมริกา ผู้ซื้อจึงมั่นใจได้ในเรื่องของความสมบุกสมบันที่เพียงพอสำหรับทุกสภาพแวดล้อมอย่างแน่นอน
สำหรับรายละเอียดการออกแบบที่เป็นจุดขายพิเศษของนาฬิการุ่น MIL-SPEC Thailand Limited Edition นี้ ได้แก่หน้าปัดลายเนินทรายที่ก่อตัวจากการพัดพาของแม่น้ำโขงที่มีการตกแต่งด้วยซุปเปอร์ลูมิโนว่าเรืองแสงสีส้มเป็นรูปดวงอาทิตย์ขึ้นสะท้อนบนผิวน้ำที่ตำแหน่ง 6 นาฬิกา เหมือนกับที่ใช้บนเข็มวินาที ส่วนตำแหน่งหลักชั่วโมงทั้ง 12 นั้นมีหลอดเรืองแสงเทคโนโลยีแอลแอลทีของ Luminox ที่สามารถทำงานต่อเนื่องได้เป็นเวลานานถึง 25 ปี และอีกองค์ประกอบสำคัญก็คือฝาหลังแกะสลักลาย “โบก” ซึ่งเป็นคำในภาษาท้องถิ่นที่หมายถึงหลุมเว้าหลากหลายรูปทรงอันเกิดจากการกัดเซาะของแม่น้ำโขงเป็นระยะเวลานาน พร้อมพิกัดเส้นละติจูดและลองติจูดของสามพันโบก คำว่า “LIMITED EDITION” และหมายเลขประจำตัวเรือน “XXX/200”

Luminox held an exclusive event from 26 to 28 November to launch the MIL-SPEC Thailand Limited Edition. This special watch was inspired by the striking and resilient landscape of “Sam Phan Bok” – the famous tourist destination along the Mekong River in Ubon Ratchathani is often referred to as the “Grand Canyon of Thailand”. Executives from C. Thong Panich Co., Ltd., the official distributor of Luminox in Thailand, joined the trip together with celebrity guests who are prominent in the outdoor community, namely Champ Champ Chanatip Potongkam and Sammy Cowell, as well as members of the media from various fields.
The first day began with an exploration of Ubon Ratchathani’s history from ancient times at the Ubon Ratchathani National Museum, before the group boarded a boat at Saleung Beach to discover the Mekong’s geological landscape. The highlight of the trip awaited on the second day, with visits to Sam Phan Bok and Hong Beach: the two locations that inspired the design of Luminox’s latest timepiece.
This special edition, limited to only 200 pieces and available exclusively in Thailand, is designed on the basis of the famed Luminox MIL-SPEC 3350. Its 46 mm case is crafted from black Carbonox+, a material six times lighter than stainless steel. The unidirectional rotating bezel is made of titanium, ensuring excellent resistance to seawater corrosion. The watch is constructed to meet MIL-SPEC or Military Specification MIL-PRF-46374G, the standard set by the United States Department of Defense, providing absolute confidence in its durability across all environments.
Distinct design features of the MIL-SPEC Thailand Limited Edition include a dial inspired by sand ridges of the Mekong River, with orange Super-LumiNova forming a rising sun motif at 6 o’clock and filling the tip of the seconds hand. All 12 hour markers are equipped with Luminox’s LLT illumination tubes, capable of glowing autonomously for up to 25 years. Another notable element is the engraved caseback featuring the “bok” formations — the local term for the various rock hollows caused by centuries of river erosion — along with the latitude and longitude coordinates of Sam Phan Bok, the words “LIMITED EDITION”, and the individual serial number “XXX/200”.
The Luminox MIL-SPEC Thailand Limited Edition is powered by the quartz ETA Calibre F06.412, which incorporates PreciDrive technology for enhanced accuracy under all temperature conditions, achieving a deviation of only +10/-10 seconds per year. The movement also features HeavyDrive technology to prevent hand displacement in the event of strong shocks. The battery life is impressively long at 7 years, or a full 84 months. The watch is water-resistant to 300 metres and is supplied with both a sand-coloured rubber strap and a green NATO strap, as well as a clip-on compass in true field-ready style that is consistent with Luminox’s reputation among military units and professional adventurers around the world. The model is now available at a price of 39,500 baht.
